A hybrid by design, the NXT is strong and durable yet lightweight, compact, and easy to use. The NXT is the most rigid folding paediatric tilt-in-space manual wheelchair on the market.

It is possible to adjust the seat frame width by 2inch in most sizes and an additional 4 inch in depth per size. The back angle can be adjusted from 80 degree to 120. For kids on the go, we put our best foot forward...

Features
Specifications

A foot-activated tilt with a flip-up pedal makes the chair easier to use.The chair comes standard with a foot activated wheel lock and anti-tippers. Transforms as easy as 1, 2, 3...

  1. Pop off the wheels and footrests.
  2. Flip back the armrests and fold down the back.
  3. Pull up on the strap to fold and stow the chair away for transport.

Ease of Transfer

The chair weighs approximately 10kg and folds into a small package that fits into narrow spaces.
The NXT is approved for bus transit with the tie-downs being on the strongest part of frame.The transit tie-downs are highly visible and easily accessible.

Seat Frame Width

  • The NXT is available in 11 sizes from 10inch wide to 20inch wide.
  • Each size from 10inch wide to 16inch wide adjusts an additional 2inch in width.
  • The 17inch wide size adjusts an additional 1inch in width to 18inch wide.
  • The 18inch 19inch and 20inch wide sizes are set.

Seat Frame Depths
  • The NXT is available in 3 sizes: a small, a medium or a large.
  • Each size adjusts an additional 4inch in depth.
  • Seat frame depth is measured without seating, from the front of the back post to the front end of the seat frame.
  • The small range is 12inch to 16.inch
  • The medium range is 14inch to 18.inch
  • The large range is 16inch to 20.inch

Seat Depth Extensions For additional seat frame depths, extensions can be added to the back of the seat frame. There is a 2inch, a 3inch or a 4inch extension to choose from.

Seat to Floor Height
  • The NXT can be conigured in a variety of seat to floor heights.
  • Selections in front casters and rear wheel sizes determine a range of choices from 12.5inch low to 19.5inch high, and almost everything in between.
